DESIGN: close review gaps (metadata preservation, integrity, ops)

A — File metadata: capture type/mode/uid-gid/mtime/symlink-target, empty dirs,
special files and hardlinks; symlinks recorded not followed; re-apply on restore
(new §6.8 + schema).
B — Integrity: fix the manifest auth (naming-key MAC, not mnemonic-derived, since
the host has only the public key) with rollback detection via local trusted
state; bind codec/cipher tags into AEAD AAD; add verify/check and a catalog lock;
store layout for DR bootstrap.
C — Ops: destinations + credential sourcing (creds never in catalog), status
command, GFS retention for prune.
Plus multi-recipient encryption as a planned feature (§6.3/§6.6) and a
key-rotation limitation note (§9).
