test: ensure all buffered data is read

Starting in Node.js 26 (<https://github.com/nodejs/node/pull/60441>),
`stream.Readable#read()` returns individual chunks of buffered data
instead of all buffered data.  Request `readableLength` bytes to ensure
that all data is returned.
