chore(tooling): migrate CI to Node 24 and GitHub Actions

Replace Travis + Sauce Labs with a Node 24 GitHub Actions workflow,
switch from yarn to npm (drop yarn.lock), and modernize the toolchain
(Babel, Rollup 4 with scoped @rollup/plugin-*, ESLint 8, mocha 11,
nyc 17, sinon 22, backbone 1.6). Rollup configs renamed to .mjs.

.nvmrc pins Node 24 and the workflow reads node-version-file: .nvmrc
so local and CI stay in sync. easy-sauce / Sauce Labs integration,
the test-cross-browser script, and the readme badge are removed.
