Refactor parseNestedPropRoot for performance and clarity (#1266)

- Replace object stack with primitive string stack to reduce allocations
- Remove redundant lastModeIndex in favor of Array.at(-1)
- Eliminate per-iteration string concatenation via slice()
- Extract regex literals as module-level constants
- Flatten control flow using guard clauses and continue
- Improve variable names and JSDoc
