Avoid hang in Trixi.download when download fails (#2990)

* Add MPI.Barrier on error path for `Trixi.download`

When the download fails (for whatever reason) we currently deadlock.
The other processes are stuck in the internal MPI.Barrier.

* Use Abort instead of barrier to avoid divergence

* use @error

* Update src/auxiliary/auxiliary.jl
