main: add debug logging for handler dispatch and progress

With many packages the output went silent for long stretches during
the heuristic fallback chain, giving no indication of what the tool
was doing. Log which URL handler matched in parse_url, which fallback
strategy is being tried in _check_one_package, and an info-level
progress counter in get_props so throughput is visible.
