Add unit tests for sliding partitions and singleton metric edge cases

Coverage: 91.9% → 94.4% line coverage. New tests: sliding windows,
error paths (empty nights, window < min_nights), partition summaries,
singleton metric (not enough obs, not enough nights, min_nightly
enforcement).
