fix(search): sanitize empty and whitespace-only filter values in buildFilter

Skip empty strings, whitespace-only strings, and trim leading/trailing
whitespace from string filter values before building the Typesense
filter_by parameter. Prevents Typesense from rejecting empty filter
values with a 400 that surfaced as an unhandled 500.
