fix: `isOpen` accepts undefined (#2769)

* refactor: enhance dropdown guidance in append-to-example component

- Upgraded Angular packages to version 21.2.0 for improved performance and features.
- Updated @ng-bootstrap/ng-bootstrap to version 20.0.0 for compatibility with the latest Angular version.
- Adjusted Bootstrap version to 5.3.8 for the latest enhancements and bug fixes.
- Updated development dependencies including prettier, sass, and typescript-eslint to their latest versions for better development experience.
- Modified the index.html to remove jQuery and streamline Bootstrap JS inclusion.
