[CI] Use gotestsum (#363)

#### Type of change

- Test update
 
#### Description

- Use gotestsum to reduce test clutter.
- Print a "." for passed test, and "x" for a failed test (without
output), to reduce test clutter
- Re run failed test at the end to produce the output of the failed test
and to mitigate flaky tests
- Remove "fuzz" tests (moved to common)
- Fix a typo in the coordinator
