[#112] Raise the required Java version to 1.8

Most of the Neo4j dependencies are now built with JDK 8, which means the
tests can only run with Java 1.8. Since they're not run at all with Java 1.7
and the test goal doesn't even fail, it's a liability to keep supporting it
as a build environment.
