fix: trim JWT for websockets in frontend (#1130)

Frontend would fail to connect to the new subscriptions' websocket if the
submitted JWT contained whitespace characters (i.e. `\n`) at the beginning or
the end. Since this should never be the case and could only be a mistake, we
can sanitize the input safely.
