Potential deadlock fix (#91)

* makeSuite was deprecated in 3.11 and removed in 3.13, use TestLoader.loadTestsFromTestCase()

* Avoid polluting doctest globs namespace with explicit imports.

* Potential deadlock fix, close connection explicitly in doctest.

* Use temp var to factor our test loader source and reduce line length.
