Remove non-working monogram viewer code (#5364)

The monogram graphql query always returns an empty array, so
most of this logic is never reached in production.  As #2967
says, we don't display the monogram viewer currently.  If we want
to add it at a future time, we can implement it fully at that
time.

Closes #2967
