refactor: modernize and clean up codebase (#28)

- Replace SFINAE with C++20 concepts in dag_walker.hpp for better readability
- Rename walk_dag to walk_dag_preorder for clearer API semantics
- Remove duplicate constants in expression_graph.cpp, use functions directly
- Clean up version history references in comments and documentation
- Update test case comments to focus on current behavior
- Add deprecated alias for backward compatibility

These changes modernize the codebase to better utilize C++20 features while
maintaining functionality and improving code clarity.
