fix: correct WAL test transaction handling

The test_wal_collector_bytes_increases test was attempting to create
the same temporary table multiple times within a single transaction,
causing transaction aborts. Fixed by:

- Creating uniquely named temp tables (wal_bytes_test_{i})
- Inserting data instead of dropping non-existent tables
- Properly propagating errors instead of silently ignoring them

This resolves the 'current transaction is aborted' errors in CI.
