ci: add cleanup step for orphaned test processes

Add cleanup steps to kill any remaining fork/daemon test processes
and remove test directories after test runs. Uses 'if: always()' to
ensure cleanup happens even if tests fail.

This prevents process accumulation and ensures clean test runs.
