test: replace custom helper with builtin and add PathologicalObject test

- Remove unnecessary `_helper_function()` and use builtin `len` instead
  in list structure test to simplify code
- Add `test_pathological_object_normal_attribute()` to verify that
  PathologicalObject correctly blocks __class__ and __name__ attribute
  access while allowing normal attributes like __dict__

This improves test clarity by using a standard builtin function and
increases test coverage for PathologicalObject's attribute blocking
behavior.
