Merge pull request #108 from klinge/107-redo-handling-of-protected-routes

Refactor auth middleware
- make middleware route-specific instead of global
- add middleware to routes in RouteConfig
- remove the hard-coded array of routes that doesn't require login
- make sure the new middleware have proper test coverage
