refactor: extract elevation calculation functions into reusable module

- Create ElevationFunctions module with coordinate conversion utilities
- Extract toPixel, normalizePixel, and validation functions from ElevationCalculator
- Add comprehensive test coverage for extracted functions
- Update all imports to use shared function module
- Improve code organization and reduce duplication
- Enhance testability by making coordinate functions independently testable
- Remove unused global alert declaration in demo.js
