Rename type alias (#151)

This PR updates type alias names to improve clarity and consistency.

The previous `*T` suffix suggested these were `TypeVar`s, but they are
actually type aliases.
Old names are still available as aliases since the intent is to
encourage migration toward the new names while preserving compatibility.
