* Fixed issues with datatype colon_colon methods syntax (#3991)

This commit fixes issues with datatype colon_colon methods, due to this earlier datatype colon_colon methods were resulting in unexpected results and unexpected errors. Updated the syntax rules and added handling to fix these issues with datatype colon_colon methods.
