⏺ Summary of Vortex Benchmarks Website Improvements

  Visual Design & Branding

- Applied consistent highlight colors throughout (#5971FD blue, #CEE562
green, #101010 black)
- Added professional typography with Funnel Display for headers and
Geist for body text
  - Integrated Vortex logo (vortex_black_nobg.svg) in the header
  - Complete CSS overhaul with modern design system using CSS variables

  Navigation & Layout Enhancements

  - Added sticky header with navigation controls
  - Implemented collapsible sidebar with dynamic navigation
- Created expandable/collapsible benchmark sections with smooth
animations
  - Added GitHub logo to the repository link
  - Made download button more subtle in the sidebar
  - Fixed scroll offset issues when navigating to sections

  Filtering & Organization

  - Implemented tag-based filtering system:
    - Read/Write benchmarks
    - Queries (NVMe) and Queries (S3)
    - TPC-H scale factors (SF=1, 10, 100, 1000)
- Added engine filters for query benchmarks (DuckDB, DataFusion, Vortex,
Parquet)
  - Synchronized engine filter selection across all benchmark groups
  - Added search functionality for finding specific benchmarks
  - Clear filter button with improved styling (blue instead of green)

  URL Parameters & Sharing

  - Implemented comprehensive URL query parameters for:
    - Tag filters (?tag=)
    - Engine filters (?engine=)
    - Expand/collapse state (?expanded=)
    - Direct group linking (?group=)
- Added group link buttons (🔗) to copy shareable URLs for specific
benchmark sections

  Chart Improvements

  - Synchronized x-axis zoom across all charts in the same group
  - Added "Reset X-Axis" button for each group to reset zoom
  - Optimized zoom performance with:
    - Debounced synchronization (50ms delay)
    - RequestAnimationFrame for smooth updates
    - Reduced zoom wheel speed for better control
- Right-anchored zoom - always keeps most recent commits... (continued)
