- Add Stats() method to track execution metrics (attempts, duration, errors)
- Track work time vs delay time separately
- Update README with statistics documentation
- Migrate golangci-lint configuration to v2 format
- Update GitHub Actions to use golangci-lint-action@v7 with v2.1.6
- Fix all linting issues (field alignment, testifylint)
- Add thread-safety documentation

* refactor: reduce code duplication in stats finalization

- Extract finalizeStats helper function to eliminate repeated code
- Address Copilot review feedback about duplicated stats update logic
- Improves code maintainability and consistency
