refactor: simplify pool implementation and improve maintainability

- Remove hard limit functionality to simplify pool management\n- Remove size and active counters for simpler state tracking\n- Improve cleanup logic and add configuration validation\n- Update benchmarks and documentation\n- Remove Close() method as it's no longer needed\n- Clean up test cases to match new implementation
