Update Workflow Dependencies and Logging Configuration Improvements (#896)

**Key Changes:**

- Updated GitHub Actions dependencies for the Nancy workflow.

- Updated `actions/checkout` to `v4.1.7` and `actions/setup-go` to a newer commit.

**Removed:**

- Deprecated comments and unnecessary whitespace in the `logging/logutils.go` file for cleaner code.
