feat: modify "first parent only" option names to match

- docs: add this new option to the README
- chore: modify option description to more closely match the others
- chore: place the option in the same order across the various config files
- test(fix): test can fail depending on local config
  failed on my machine because default branch is 'main' rather than 'master'
