Refactored component startup (#127)

* Resources and resource factories added by components during startup are now logged (on the DEBUG level), as are components going through the various stages of their start-up.
* Removed the `wait` parameter from `get_resource()`, as this is now implicitly done during component startup, and is not useful outside of it.
