* $matches unused in "main" program block
* $anyfound set but not used in recurseglob()
* Directly declare escape sequence hash "map_esc" instead of declaring intermediate global list "escapes"
* Regression test: "perl glob '*.c*' versus "ls -1 *.c*" (i.e. glob function built into bash shell)
