Fix optimizer incorrectly considering some optionals empty

This could occur when an optional was done over an empty join group,
which produces an estimated 0 cardinality.
This zero cardinality incorrectly lead to the overall cardinality also
being considered zero, which caused the empty-check optimizer to work
when it shouldn't.
