Merge pull request #79 from mizosoft/cache-touch-ups

Cache touch-ups

 - Properly/efficiently implement gathering/scattering IO for all the stores.
 - Adaptive asynchronous execution strategy.
 - Dump `DiskStore`'s usage of `fsync`.
 - Use crc32c for detecting file corruption in `DiskStore`.
 - Allow callers to wait for cache writes via a system property.  This doesn't cover cache updates though.
