Burton/changes for canonical plus seo (#8416)

* trying to fix push notification issues...

* branch to implement rel=canonical for SEO purposes.

* only use react-helmet-async not react-helmet as it doesn't make sense to have two versions of the same library.  react-helmet-async is the forked version.

* ok we should have this working for profile links too now...

* make this PR easier to merge.

* cleanup...
