Start revamping the function handling stuff (#1563)

* Start revamping the function handling stuff

* Add in function and location tracking

* Get the function names for the lines

* Put function names into lcov report

* Add a test for getting function names correct

* Add trait indicator into function name

Also expand the test case some more

* Update changelog and delete some dead code
