[0.7.0] flatten arbitrarily nested iterables (#7)

New function, `flatten`, in the new module, `core_utils.collections`, provides support for flattening arbitrarily nested iterables. I.e. it can convert a `list[T | list[T]]` into a `list[T]`. Flexible support for either preserving or unrolling tuples (but _never_ `NamedTuple`s) is provided via flag. New supporting function, `is_flattenable`, determines if the input can be flattened or not.

New unit tests provide 100% test coverage of the new `collections` module.
