feat: Enhance delimiter handling and testing facilities

- Add functionality to skip certain characters during processing
- Implement logic to determine if a delimiter should be considered open or closed based on context
- Fix a typo in the code for rendering Markdown text
- Added new test cases to `match_pairs.txt`
