Figure options xscale and yscale (#1215)

This pull request introduces new figure options to the visualization
module: `xscale` and `yscale`. They represent parameters to the
functions `set_xscale` and `set_yscale`, like `log` and `linear`. With
the addition of a home-made parameter `quadratic`, for quadratic
scaling.

Here's a T1 experiment figure with quadratic x-scale and logarithmic
y-scale, obtained with these new options and this pull request:
