Merge branch 'pr3' (COMPATIBILITY BREAK)

Hash the two sides' identity strings before adding them to the
transcript. This protects against parsing-confusion in the two strings:
previously idA,idB=("foo","bar:baz") was indistinguishable from
idA,idB=("foo:bar","baz").

This breaks compatibility with previous versions: two clients on
opposite sides of this patch will generate different keys.
