Commit Message

Remove obsolete test.

Fix error in ce14a1c. The test is now obsolete, because the R code will only pass n>1 on to the C++ code if the algorithm is set to pounders. I'm leaving the if statement in the C++ code in case someone calls tao_cpp directly.
