fix(minby, maxby): don't throw on empty sequence

maxBy, minBy return a sequence of items. If supplied an empty sequence, we should expect an empty
sequence returned, not an error.

BREAKING CHANGE: maxBy, minBy no longer throw when supplied an empty sequence. Now, in this case,
they return an empty sequence
