* chore: remove composer.lock from .gitignore

* build: modernized style/validation config

* style: ran php-cs-fixer with new settings

* refactor: use laravel-package-tools

* refactor: use new Laravel factories

* style: php8 type constructor/add type hints

* build: require php8/laravel8

* test: configure api guard after it was removed from Laravel

* style: fix phpmd feedback

BREAKING CHANGE: Argument $provider_user_id in traits has been renamed to $providerUserId (only breaking if you were using these methods and using named arguments)

* cI: run composer verify script

* chore: use php8 in styleci

* style: align styleci config with php-cs-fixer config

* chore: remove todo
