I1682 add a display to the N2 so that if an error occurs the user some idea of what happened (#1838)

* Completely functioning code for catching errors in the JavaScript of the N2 and giving an indication to the user

* Updated look of the warning button

* Updated button text based on feedback

* made the error button look more like a button

* Code cleanup

* Removed commented out code

* Fixed PEP errors
