Checking in GUI tests and some healthy code cleanup (#135)

* working on tests -- just wanna look at coverage report to see what's missing

* coveralls always!

* working on some code coverage of main gui widget

* coordinator doesn't kill controller on stop...

* we got too soft on em, actually killing when closing gui

also explicitly testing VTE since its just a lil different as it doesnt have a corresponding control in the controller

* killing dead code

- RIP the ideal waveform plot it was a good idea ahead of its time.
- RIP the rangeslider which should be built into Qt but we had to do hand to hand fucking pixelwise drawing for like a week to make. it still was sorta shitty so good riddance
- Welcome back to life tests for doubleslider

* howd this lil bastard slip in here

(also actually really deleting the rangeslider)
