Tests: update the broken regression tests (#771)

* Change the regression code to handle external config files

 * add a file parameter to specify where is the configuration, and
   read the apiKey from there instead of hard-coding that

* Fix regressions based on different assumptions

 * work against carthage, at a lower depth
 * add parametric definitions of how many blocks to load, still
   hard-coding values, though
 * fix the corresponding tests expectations to work with the different
   params

Unexpectedly there is a bug in loading the classpath resources holding
data for the test, still working on finding the cause, as nothing
seemed to have changed in that regard.

* Define regression json as fixture strings as opposed to file content

 * work-around the error thrown when currently reading the data as a
   scala Source from classpath, which stopped working mysteriously

* Remove unused import
