Feat/refactor resolvers (#73)

* Refactor to use appropriate resolver patterns

Two forms of premature optimisation made this repo difficult to
understand
- dynamic resolvers (e.g. potentially switching between circleci and travis)
- batch functional programming instead of field resolvers

Both of these approaches have been refactored away and replaced with
field resolvers and a single utils library.
