Prefer raw pointers

Reduces the build time of the Delta compiler itself by ~10%:
- from 24.5s to 22s when tested with incremental compilations after header edits
- from 5s to 4.5s when tested with incremental compilations after .cpp file edits

The allocations are not being deleted to avoid slowing the compiler down, since the memory will be reclaimed on process exit anyway.
