pagination: added batch filtering and fallback methods for normal filtering

I added a benchmark tests to measure performance benefits of batching the filtering, and modified the paginations testst appropriatly. There is FilterField, BatchFilterField, and BatchFilterFieldWithFallback built in the API now to register a new batchfield function.
