Tracing tool: make peeking skeleton removal more robust

Katharina Eichler noticed that some segmentation skeletonizations cause
peeking to break by causing an error in THREE.js:

  THREE.Matrix3: .getInverse() can't invert matrix, determinant is 0

It is not entirely clear yet what is causing this, but this commit
mitigates the problem somwhat by at least re-rendering the scene and
allowing future peeking requests to work again.
