refactor(bench): Write simple read-yaml replacement using js-yaml

`read-yaml` hasn’t been updated for a while and the functionality needed 
here is even simpler than it offers. This uses `js-yaml` directly 
(depending on the most recent version) and provides a synchronous YAML 
reader–parser in `bench/lib/read-yaml`.
