Expand automated and manual tests

- for automated tests, make sure we check faked buttons (using `<div>` and `<a href="#">`) as well - there's generally no reason for authors to use these over actual `<button>` elements, but hey...some will, and our plugin should handle this
- added these fake buttons to the visual/manual unit test as well, with custom keyboard handling and a bit more explanation and styling
