compile core program on macOS 10.14.4

 - a working recipe for macOS compile using autoconf/make and
 suite-sparse/lapack from homebrew using standard Xcode (clang)
 compiler
   C Compiler: gcc (darwin18.5.0->darwin18.5.0:clang-10.0.1)

 - tests using cmocka are broken since Xcode doesn't know the "-wrap"
 linker flag, see
    Intercepting Arbitrary Functions on Windows, UNIX, and Macintosh OS X Platform
    D. Myers, A. Bazinet, 2004, Technical Report.
